Norman Pratt Memorial Run 2012

Norman Pratt Run 2012

The Celtic vehicle owners club held its 20th Norman Pratt memorial run this year of 2012. It was held in the Marriott Hotel in Ashbourne Co.Meath.All the drivers started to gather there outside in the parking areas from approx 9am. I got there myself at about 9.30am a small bit late as I was asked to be there for 9am. The sun was shining and the cars were gleaming with the polishing they got the evening previous.

I have done the video for this run for the past 3/4 years now and each year it seems to get better and better with more cars joining the run. This is a fun and memorable day for each person who is involved in the day, weather a driver, committee member, child, son or daughter, it’s a day not to be missed for all ages. I love videoing this as each year there is always new faces, and same faces but with new cars.

Kilcock Online Radio – Launch Day 17th March 2012

Kilcock Online Radio

Kilcock has now got its very own online radio station. Its for online users and people with smart phones that can listen to the station while on the go. This was created and launched by Stephen Mc Donagh who lives in Kilcock and is a DJ but a radio & broadcast student in Dublin.

This will give Kilcock a voice and people who live out abroad to keep in touch with whats going on around the town.

I would like to wish Stephen and others who may in time get involved in the running of this great idea for the community of Kilcock the very best of luck from Darren Byrne Photography.

Thanks for viewing my website. I had a great night in the Hamlet Court Hotel in Johnstown doing the video for the fashion show which was held in aid of Irish Autism. A huge crowd turned out, met lots of new people and potential customers which is also a plus.Everybody got a free four-ball round of golf in Knockanally golf club. There was a few different small local businesses there showcasing their stuff. I also met local photographer Ralph McKeon from Carbury.

Please contact me with regards purchasing a DVD of the fashion show.

”Discover Kilcock” PROMO video*

Hi, I’ve been thinking about Kilcock and everything that goes on in the town, with regards trying to create jobs, promoting businesses, selling Kilcock as good place to be & visit. So I’ve come up with the idea to create a promo video for the town of Kilcock to show off its unique qualities and why people should visit, stay in Kilcock & shop in Kilcock etc. Im doing a poll here to see what people of kilcock think. This will be a something everyone from kilcock can get involved in.

What will be needed is,

  • Detailed list(s) of what we like to portray in our promo video,
  • What kind of audience we trying to target
  • Places in Kilcock that are unique and will show off Kilcock as an amazing place to be – The good things that kilcock has. Ie – Paul Robinson for irish running etc
  • Music to go with video to promote Kilcock and that will stay in peoples minds that that song reminds them of Kilcock or the video they saw of Kilcock town – Local Musicians could come up with theme song/sound
More stuff for this will be needed, as this is early stages i would like to just see who would be interested in helping out on project ”Discover Kilcock”. So please any suggestions on regards this please feel free to contact me, ill be taken names for the helping of this and all ideas are very welcome.
